]]>Just like motion graphics, I admit that I'm still sort of learning and feeling it all out. I like the art style in Sweater, and decided to see if I could model something, once again, as quick as possible.
The results, I feel, are pretty close to the real thing, but I'm sure someone will comment otherwise!
]]>Kinda' just started motion graphics in After Effects a couple weeks ago. I was interested in seeing how quickly I could throw something together. Took about 2 hours.
The Photoshop work is far from perfect, I'll be the first to admit that. The windmills could've been cleaned up more, for sure.
In the end though, this was two hours, and for a dude just learning and experimenting, I think I accomplished my goal, which was efficiency. Think of this as a first draft.

In reality, it's a short piece I shot at probably 2am - 4am on Friday, February 10th. The book was for my girlfriend's birthday. I had planned to only fill it up with about 10 pages worth of text, but I kept going, and going, and going, and before I knew it, I had made my way near the back of the book.
You're amazing, Kat. We have the comfort of a couple that's been together for a long time, but we have the excitement and enthusiasm of a couple who's still getting to know and explore one another.

Shot just outside of Trochu, Alberta, one man chooses, stupidly, to shoot windmills in 60fps on his Canon 60d with a flimsy but beautiful 50mm f/1.8.
I believe I had the aperture set to 10 or so. Daylight colour settings... maybe?
If I could do anything again, it would've been shooting in 29.97 fps.
I had a steadicam in my trunk, but goddamn if I was SMRT enough to use it. Instead, I've used Warp Stabilizer for the first time... and it shows.
